Morning walk - dueling banjos in my ears and two black labs playing catch with their human, bringing the red ring back together. Perfect synchro.
I remember this was the first time that, while I was out walking, I noticed how the world around me kept linking up in these surprising ways to the music playing on my ipod. These dueling black labs were the banjos personified.
I took note that if I just set the ipod to my walking playlist and hit shuffle, my heart would fill and ache and fly free as the world around me synched with each new song. My walking playlist is a mismatched mix of music that moves me... some groovey, some funky, some sexy, some silly, some sweet, some sad, some yearning, some calming, some inspiring, some ass-kickin awesome, some nostalgic, some empowering, some enlightening...well, all enlightening. On shuffle, the universe decides what I need at each moment, and I watch for the linking...never disappointed.
These walks, from that day on, I refer to as "church" because they are when I feel closest to what connects me to everything else. This church excludes no one. This church has her arms around us all.
Turn on your favorite playlist to shuffle and look at some of the sights that delighted me while churching, or, better yet, take your playlist on a walk around your neighborhood.
Amen.

Sooooooooo beautiful!!!!! Thank you!
